Help Build a Well for a Community: Bike Fundraiser
Setting out on a bike ride across the continental United States—Washington DC to the Pacific Cost of Washington State— This trip is taking place June-August.
Millions of people worldwide don’t have easy access to clean drinking water. In some of the areas this charity aims to help, families walk miles every day just to collect water that is often contaminated. We believe that clean water is a basic human right, and this charity seems to be efficient and makes a difference.
We are hoping this trip can inspire people to help support charity: water to fund the construction of a sustainable, clean-water well in a community that needs it. The cost to build a well typically ranges between $10,000 and $15,000. Our goal is to help fund the building of a portion of a well.
