Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un – “Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return.”

We are heartbroken to share that our beloved family member returned to her Creator just a few days ago. She was so much more than a sister-in-law — she was a mother figure, a loving aunt, a caring grandmother, a sister, and a dear friend. Her presence lit up every room, and her kindness, compassion, and selflessness touched the lives of so many.

In her honour, we are raising funds to build a water well in a community in need – a form of sadaqah jariyah (ongoing charity) that will continue to benefit her soul in the hereafter. This well will provide clean, life-giving water to those who need it most and serve as a continuous source of blessings and reward for her, by the mercy of Allah.

Even though she is no longer with us, this act of charity will keep her legacy of love and goodness alive. Every time someone drinks from the well, makes wudu, or uses the water in their daily life, she will receive the reward, insha’Allah.

No amount is too small – every donation will go directly toward this project and be a gift of ongoing reward for her soul.

Please keep her in your du’as. May Allah accept this effort, forgive her sins, and grant her the highest rank in Jannah. Ameen.
