Help build a water well for my sister

On September 15th 2021, we received a call that my sister suddenly passed. Heartbroken and in so much pain I watched my mother breakdown over and over again. My entire family was in shambles. Innalilahi wa ina ilaahi rajicuun. My beautiful self-less sister lost her life the second time around.
Hawo has always been the kind of person you can share anything with, she was the person I could take on adventures with me because I always felt safe with her. She has always been that overprotective sister and never let any of us down. She was self-less in the way that she truly cared about her family and would quite literally give up anything. Hawo was loving and never held a grudge for anyone. Most people describe her as “qalbi safi” meaning a pure heart. Hawo had this undeniable love for her mother and today my mother is still in silent grief. Today a year after my beloved sister passed, Hooyo is raising seven of her children. Hawo would always tell us that if anything ever happened to her it was Hooyo she knew she could rely on and her family.
I introduce my sister to you all because she was a victim of injustice and institutional trauma following a baseless accusation from a St. Paul police officer, Heather Weyker. We never speak about the victims of imprisonment, especially women in prison. Not only was my sister accused on baseless federal charges but she was made to pay for a crime she never committed by an accuser. Following her arrest, my sister’s life changed. She suffered severe mental repercussions of the trauma she endured. How could she not? Her baby was literally ripped away from her as she was taken back in shackles literally. Hawo has always stood strong in her innocence and she refused a plea and she was taken to trial. In which a federal grand jury found her innocent on ALL counts and the case again was later dismissed. Although she was no longer in prison she was never free.
If you go on to read this article you will find out more details of the specific case and the explicit trauma my sister dealt with. Please make dua for Hawo, this world was never easy for her. May she find her freedom and peace in the warmth of Allah swt. And May Allah punish those who hurt her. Inshallah please share this post and speak out so that St. Paul police officer who literally destroyed the lives of not only my sister but others is held accountable for the lives she has ruined.
The name of the officer is to blame is Heather Weyker of the St. Paul Police department she is still on the force untouched by the crimes she has committed.
if you are in MN, please call the St. Paul Police department and report release from the force! And pls share the article below (Star tribune Article) and my sister’s story.
“Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) said Allah said: Spend on charity, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.” Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)
Hawo leaves behind her mother, siblings and seven children. In the last year we have greatly wanted to build my sister a well but we don’t have the means to fund it. Please donate and share to this cause, may Allah reward you. May Allah swt have mercy on my sister and grant her the highest level of Jannah.
