Help Build a Treehouse for Gar Freienmuth

Donation protected
On July 14th, life changed forever for 8-year-old Gar and his family. What began as nausea and shakiness led his mom to take him to the ER, where doctors discovered a large brain tumor. Since that moment, the Freienmuth family's world has been turned upside down as they face a long and uncertain road ahead.

In the midst of hospital stays, medical procedures, and overwhelming stress, we want to give Gar something joyful to hold onto: a magical treehouse of his very own. A place where he can simply be a kid. A space where laughter, imagination, and healing can happen alongside his love of unicorns, camping adventures, and his delightfully sarcastic sense of humor.

Gar is silly, strong, and full of spunk. He loves being outside with his family and spending time with his dog Liberty, his cat, and his axolotls. He’s especially close with his 10-year-old sister, Sonora. They’re best buddies, and this treehouse would be a place they can enjoy together and make special memories.

His parents, Lena and Eric, have shown incredible strength as they walk through every step of this journey with Gar. As they focus on his care and well-being, we hope this gift can bring a little brightness to their days.

We are raising $10,000 to make this dream come true for Gar and the Freienmuth family. Every gift, big or small, brings us closer to building something truly special for a boy who has already shown so much courage. Thank you for your generosity and support.
