So let me tell you about Pearl of the Heart, and then I'll explain the need for a toilet - it's an inspiring organization nestled near Ubud, Bali, dedicated to empowering children with disabilities through physical therapy and education. The story of its inception is truly remarkable.

It all began with Ms. Siki and her son, who faced physical and developmental challenges. Through dedicated support, her son defied expectations and secured a job in the hospitality industry. This success story quickly spread through neighboring villages.

Soon, families began arriving at Ms. Siki's doorstep, their children in tow, hoping for similar opportunities. Recognizing the profound need in her community, Ms. Siki embraced the challenge and opened her home to these families.

​Today, the organization works to help children with disabilities reach their full potential. It's not just about therapy; it's about creating pathways to brighter futures for these children and their families.

Ms. Siki runs the school from her home, where she lives with many others in her family. For the school that can have up to 50 students onsite in addition to her family, there is one shared bathroom with one toilet.

It's Ms. Siki's wish to build another operational bathroom so that the children have a space and their own privacy.
