Hi! It's ARC for Nepal! We invite you to join us in Samsara Ghar's next project: A sustainable farm that will provide fresh food for the children, reduce the home’s long-term operating costs, create local employment, and offer practical agricultural learning opportunities.
Samsara Ghar is a residential children’s home in Parbat, Nepal, created through a collaboration between ARC for Nepal and the Rajendra Anjana Foundation. It currently supports children who have faced poverty, family loss, and circumstances beyond their control by providing a safe home, education, daily care, and the opportunity to simply be children.
As Samsara Ghar prepares to grow, we are also thinking about what it will take to support the children for years to come. That is why we are working to develop a sustainable farm near the Samsara Ghar campus.
The farm will raise buffalo, goats, and chickens and help provide fresh milk, eggs, and other food for the children. Growing and producing more of our own food will help reduce the home’s long-term expenses while giving the children access to fresh, locally produced food. This is also provide us the opportunity to give jobs to local farmers in the area and provide a place where children and young people can learn practical agricultural, vocational, and life skills.
Land owned by the founder, Rajendra (Ray) Shrestha has been donated for this project. Now, we need help turning that land into a functioning and sustainable farm.
Your donation will help fund:
- Building Animal shelters and farm infrastructure
- Purchasing Buffalo, goats, and chickens
- Building Water, feeding, and sanitation systems through collaborations with local engineers
- Purchasing Farming tools and equipment
- Initial feed, veterinary care, and operating expenses
- Training and employment for local farm workers
We hope to build systems that help Samsara Ghar become increasingly self-sufficient while creating meaningful opportunities for the children and the surrounding community.
Every donation will help us take another step toward a future where Samsara Ghar can provide not only a safe home, but also fresh food, practical education, local employment, and long-term stability.
Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser with your family, friends, and community.
Together, we can help Samsara Ghar plant the foundation for a more sustainable future.
