Help build a school for underprivileged kids in India
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Priyank Kapoor. I moved to Canada in 2021, but I remain connected to my roots and as I watch my child grow—well-fed, well-educated, and full of opportunities—I can’t help but think of the countless children in India who aren’t as fortunate.
For years, I’ve contributed in small ways, but now I have an opportunity to make a lasting impact—and I want to share it with you.
A friend’s NGO, Samyak Education and Welfare Society, has been working tirelessly to educate children from Bhopal’s slums and villages, giving them a chance at a better future. They have supported 200 students so far and now these students are doing MBBS, Engineering, Nursing and even PHD. Now, we are taking a more organised step—building a free boarding school where these children will receive not just an education but also shelter, nutritious meals, and a safe space to grow. Quality education is the only way to break the cycle of poverty.
The land has already been purchased using personal funds, but we need your help to build the school. The total infrastructure cost is ₹20 crores ($ 3.3 Mn) and any donation—big or small—takes us closer to making this dream a reality.
But can you trust this NGO ? In my last trip to India, I visited the location myself. Witnessed NGOs work personally and saw their plans for this school. Some pictures of their work so far and the plans for the school are attached here.
This school isn’t just about education; it’s about changing lives. Let’s do this together
