Help build a school for Fred's Maasai village

Hi, I'm Pascal, a former expat med student at the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center, Moshi, Tanzania. While staying there, one evening I watched the sunset from the hospital‘s rooftop with some friends when a chaplain joined us. Friendly and outgoing, he introduced himself as Fred – or Alamunyak, in Maasai, his mother tongue. I‘ve rarely met someone as genuinely honest, kind-hearted and idealistic as Fred. After some chat about his care work at the hospital and ourselves, he offered to show us his Maasai village – which rarely sees visitors as it’s quite remote and not part of any tourism network. All the more special it felt when their community welcomed us with open arms and their children performed a cute little song! :)
The only problem: This lovely Maasai village lacks a proper school. At the moment they're using a small abandoned government building without a proper roof for the lessons. That’s obviously not a permanent solution, especially during the rainy season; and the government can cancel the agreement at any given moment. So far they have a pre-primary class of 27 pupils with one teacher and they provide, in addition to education, a warm porridge meal for these lovely children every morning.
But Fred and his wife Hrodo have a plan, blueprints and an engineer’s cost estimate for the "Esarunoto Evangelistic Pre and Primary English Medium School". 'Esarunoto' in Maasai means 'from darkness into light'. They save as much as they can from their small salaries and buy the ressources for building a school, literally brick by brick.
It would take them decades on their own but we can help! Let's step in and support their project, every Euro or Dollar counts! I will give Fred the collected money in stages, so they can build the school building by building (see the blueprints, project plan and progress report here: Scans) The estimated duration of construction is 1-2 years for the basic complex, including the first building with two classrooms, a kitchen and washroom facilities for about 100 pupils. With a growing number of pupils, more buildings will be added. The ongoing costs will mainly be covered by small school fees, increasing the parents involvement and commitment.
Ahsante and Ashe (Maasai) for your support!
