A homebound senior citizen in our community is facing a daily struggle that many of us take for granted: getting in and out of her own home. She suffers from a severe hip condition where the thigh bone has grown into the hip bone, leaving her with significant mobility issues. She can only lift her leg about three inches off the ground, making it impossible for her to walk up or down the steps outside her house. This has left her isolated and unable to attend important doctors appointments or physical therapy sessions that are crucial for her health and well-being.
Thankfully, several generous people have stepped forward and offered their time and skills to build a ramp for her. This ramp would allow her to safely leave her home and regain some independence, making it possible for her to get to medical appointments and therapy. However, while the labor is being donated, we still need to purchase the building materials required for the ramp.
Due to her limited budget, we are reaching out to our community for support. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us buy the materials needed to make this ramp a reality. If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser with others can also make a big difference. Together, we can help her regain her freedom and improve her quality of life. Thank you for your kindness and support.
