On December 16, 2025, our beloved Taylor ShyAnn Ratterree’s life was tragically taken at just 17 years old. Taylor was a bright, creative soul—a senior in high school who loved music, art, and crocheting. She adored her pets Marshall, Sugar, Patch, Luna, Peanut, and Snowflake, and she was eagerly looking forward to graduating and receiving her diploma as she dreamed about her future.
Taylor worked part-time at Kroger , balancing her responsibilities with grace and determination. She was deeply loved by her parents, siblings, and grandparents, who now face the unimaginable heartbreak of losing their baby girl.
Her life was cut short in a senseless act of violence after her work shift ended. While the person responsible is now in custody, the family is left to carry the unbearable weight of grief and the unexpected financial burden of funeral and burial expenses.
With heavy hearts, we are asking for your help. Any contribution—big or small—will go directly toward giving Taylor the dignified farewell she deserves. Your support will ease the family’s burden during this devastating time and allow them to focus on honoring her memory.
Please consider donating or sharing this campaign to help Taylor’s family find comfort and strength as they lay her to rest.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers.
Update: Donations can be made directly to Dickson Funeral home and can be reached at [phone redacted].
