Assalamu Alaikum,

We are raising funds to build a much-needed Islamic Community Centre and Mosque in Langley Green, in partnership with Minhaj-ul-Quran.

This journey began back in 2016 in the most unexpected way.

Our beloved mosque teacher had left his role as an Imam and moved to Crawley, where he was working as a postman. One day, while delivering parcels in Three Bridges, he came across a phone number advertising the hire of Montifore Hall. Something in his heart sparked – a vision to establish a place for Jumu’ah prayers.

He made the call, and subhanAllah, the only available time slot was 12–3pm, exactly the time needed for Friday prayers.

With the duas and blessings of his mother, we began.

At first, there were only 1 or 2 people attending. But week by week, the congregation slowly grew. What started as a small gathering has now, by Ramadan 2026, become something incredible — the hall is completely full and even overflowing.

We now hold two Jumu’ah prayers, and during Taraweeh, the space can no longer accommodate the number of people attending.

This is a clear sign that our community has outgrown the current space.

After years of effort, we have finally secured planning permission for a new Islamic Community Centre and Mosque in Langley Green. However, we urgently need your support to make this vision a reality.

• Construction and development costs

• Renovation and essential building work

• Rent and operational expenses

• Creating a safe, welcoming space for worship, education, and community activities

This project is more than just a building — it is a Sadaqah Jariyah opportunity. A place where future generations will pray, learn, and grow in their faith.
