Help Build a Mosque in My mums name Nasreen Akhtar AKA Kiran
Donation protected
In loving memory of my beloved mother, I am raising funds to build a mosque that will serve as a source of ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) in her name. I will be using MATW Project to build a small mosque in Africa.
My mother was a woman of faith, love, and generosity. Her heart was always open to others, and she lived a life rooted in compassion and service. Since her passing, I’ve been searching for a way to honor her memory in a way that reflects her values — and I believe building a mosque in her name is the most meaningful tribute I can offer.
This mosque will be built in an area where it’s most needed — a place where the community can come together to pray, learn, and grow spiritually. It will not only provide a sanctuary for worship but also serve as a center for Islamic education, Quran classes, and community support.
Why This Matters
In Islam, Sadaqah Jariyah is one of the most powerful forms of charity — a gift that continues to benefit others long after we are gone. A mosque is a place where prayers never stop, and with every act of worship that takes place there, my mother will, insha’Allah, receive blessings.
How You Can Help
Your support — big or small — will help make this dream a reality. Funds raised will go directly toward:
Purchasing land (if needed)
Construction costs
Furnishing the mosque
Basic utilities and initial setup
Any additional community facilities, like a small library or wudu area
Every donation brings us one step closer to turning this vision into reality.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your friends and family, and keeping us in your duas (prayers).
May Allah accept this effort, and may it be a light in my mother’s grave and a blessing for all who contribute. Ameen.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support.
