On May 19th, 2024 we lost Ramzi Addo - a brother, a son, a husband, a father and a friend whose smile could light up any room. Ramzi fought cancer with patience, courage and faith but Allah called him home.

Ramzi was a kind soul who would want to help others and wanted to give back. We want his kindness to live on.

In his memory, his wife is building a masjid in the Philippines - a place where people will pray, learn and find peace for generations to come. This will be his Sadaqah Jariyah, a continuous charity that benefits him in the hereafter and serve its local community for generations to come inshaAllah. To help, our family are raising the funds to make this possible.

Ramzi leaves behind his beloved young son, Idris Ramzi Addo, who will grow up hearing about his father’s kindness and faith. We hope this masjid will stand as a living reminder for Idris of the goodness his father brought into this world.

Every brick, every pray offered there, every person who finds guidance in that masjid will be part of the rewards for Ramzi, and you can also be a part of this too.
