Help Build a Masjid for a Community in Need

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

Ramadan Mubarak Family and Friends,

I’m reaching out to you all with a blessed and important opportunity to contribute to a cause that will have a lasting impact on many lives, InshaAllah. I am fundraising under MATW to build a masjid in Africa that will not only serve as a place for prayer but also as a place for the local community to learn the Quran, and engage in community activities. Unfortunately, there are still many communities around the world where the nearest masjid is quite a distance away.

This has been a personal goal of mine to build a masjid and would love to invite my dearest family and friends to also contribute and share in the Hassanat InshaAllah. We are aiming to raise enough to build a 'Large Masjid' which can hold up to 156 people with additional space for outside seating as well.

I have been in contact with the MATW team in regards to this project and they have informed me that there is also opportunity for add-ons to the masjid once it is built inshaAllah (longer term goal). I will do my best to keep you all updated along the way through this page as funds are raised and the project takes off.
