My name is Stephanie La Peruta. I have been living and working in the East Side of Providence, Rhode Island for about 9 years now. I am trying to raise funds to build a Little Free Library on Waterman Street, right outside of Birdsong Traditional Medicine / The Providence School of Music.

Waterman Street is truly a special place, full of beautiful people in the community that love to read and learn!

Being right outside of the Providence School of Music, multiple healthcare practices, and a preschool (The Cozy Corner), this location is excellent for pedestrians to stop and share books. This little library will also be within walking distance of Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design, perfect for students and educators.

People from all walks of life walk on Waterman Street... I am confident that this Little Free Library will reflect this unique and creative community, and in turn help the businesses surrounding it. I appreciate your support in making this Little Free Library happen, supporting literacy & reading, increasing book access, and bringing our community together!
