Central Victoria Wildlife Hospital
Following the devastation of the 2019-2020 bushfires and the appalling loss of wildlife, the Hepburn Wildlife Shelter has announced an urgent and ambitious new project to build a regional wildlife hospital near Daylesford as part of a $500,000 expansion. The new Central Victoria Wildlife Hospital will be operated by the Hepburn Wildlife Shelter.
This project has been kicked off by a generous donation of $100,000 by two Hepburn Springs residents. A further $100,000 will be raised during 2020 in donations along with $300,000 in anticipated grants. The new wildlife hospital is to be completed during the 2020-2021 summer.
