Help Build a FutureReady Learning Hub for Children in Kenya

Hi, I am Grace, Executive Director of Mentorspace Kenya.

Every child has potential. But not every child has equal access to the opportunities that help that potential grow.

In communities across Kenya, many children and young people are growing up with limited access to safe learning spaces, digital tools, STEM activities, mentorship and opportunities to explore their talents.

MentorSpace wants to help change that.

We are raising funds to strengthen our FutureReady Children & Family Resource Centres — community-based spaces designed to help children learn, discover, create and prepare for the future.

What will children experience?

FutureReady brings practical learning closer to children and families through activities such as:

STEM and digital learning

Mentorship and life skills

Creativity and problem-solving

Leadership development

Environmental learning

Family and community engagement

We want children to have somewhere they can ask questions, experiment, meet mentors, learn new skills and begin discovering what they are capable of becoming.

Why this matters

A child's future can be shaped by something as simple as access.

Access to a computer.

Access to a mentor.

Access to books and learning materials.

Access to a safe place to learn.

Access to someone who sees their potential and encourages them to keep going.

For a child who has never had these opportunities, that access can change how they see their future.

What your donation will help us provide

Funds raised through this campaign will help MentorSpace expand FutureReady activities and provide resources such as learning materials, digital and STEM equipment, mentorship activities, children's workshops, environmental learning activities and other resources required to deliver community-based learning.

Our goal is not simply to give children things.

We want to give them opportunities to learn, participate, create and eventually build opportunities of their own.
