Evenie Louis Sam-Joseph has always dreamed of opening an orphanage and ministering to children in Haiti. For years, she has welcomed children and adults into her home, sharing the gospel and offering prayers, support, and meals. Her faithfulness and compassion have touched many lives, including mine. I’ve known Evenie through my boyfriend for almost three years, and her unwavering dedication to God and to helping others has inspired me deeply. She prays for everyone around her, reminds us of the power of faith, and has helped me grow in my own spiritual journey.

Evenie currently cares for 25-30 children on her own, providing food, guidance, and a safe space. She has already built a small community of 15-20 people who gather in her home to pray and learn together. Now, she hopes to build a church in Soufrière, a commune of Limbé, about 40 kilometers from Cap-Haïtien. This new church will offer stability and support for children and families, giving them a place to grow, learn, and find hope. In a region where churches are scarce and often lack compassion, Evenie’s vision is to create a space where every child is cared for and every adult is truly heard.

Funds raised will go directly toward construction, supplies, musical instruments, and food for the children. With your help, we can make Evenie’s dream a reality and bring lasting change to her community.
