Hi, I’m Tupee — and I’m building a Diabetes Center in memory

Hi, I’m Tupee — and I’m building a Diabetes Center in memory of my niece Rachel.
My name is Tupee Dokie, and I’m raising funds to build a Diabetes Center in the heart of a food forest in Fendall, Liberia. This project is deeply personal to me: in April 2024, I lost my beloved niece Rachel to diabetes. She was young, full of life, and deeply committed to our community.
Now, I want to honor her legacy by creating a place where health, nutrition, and healing come together — to help others like her get the care they deserve.
Help us build a Diabetes Center in a food forest in Liberia
Why this project matters
In April 2024, I lost my beloved niece Rachel to diabetes. She was young, strong, and played a vital role in our food forest project in Liberia. Her passing left a deep void in our family, and it revealed a painful truth: Diabetes is a silent and growing crisis in Liberia.
Too many people are diagnosed too late. Access to insulin and basic medication is limited. Healthy food is scarce or unaffordable for most families.
Our solution: Health meets Nature
We’re creating something unique: a Diabetes Center in the heart of our 8-acre food forest in Fendall, Liberia.
A place where medical care, natural nutrition, and community education come together.
This center will offer:
✅ Free diabetes diagnosis and monitoring
✅ Affordable access to insulin and medication
✅ Lifestyle and nutrition education
✅ Locally grown healing and nutritious foods
✅ Psychosocial support for patients and families
Why now?
- 57.6% of people with diabetes in Liberia are undiagnosed
- Only 4% of diagnosed patients receive regular care
- Insulin is too expensive for most families
Liberia is projected to have the highest increase in diabetes cases in Africa
We must act now—before the crisis grows larger.
What your donation will support
Even a small amount makes a big difference:
€10 = Test materials for 5 patients
€25 = Consultation + nutrition advice for 1 patient
€100 = Transport and education for a local community
€250 = Medical equipment for the center
️ A legacy of love
This center is more than bricks and medicine. It’s a tribute to Rachel’s life. It’s a gift to thousands in Liberia. And it’s a chance to show that nature and community can heal.
