I recently took a leap and purchased nearly 10 acres of land in Northern California with a vision that’s bigger than just myself. This isn’t just property — it’s the foundation for a community space where people can reconnect with nature, grow food together, share resources, and build something meaningful.
My goal is to transform this land into a community farm and shared outdoor space where people can come to grow produce together, help care for shared animals, learn sustainable living, plant trees and restore the land, spend time outdoors and unplug, share food, skills, and experiences, and build a supportive community. This space will be open to families, hikers, volunteers, and anyone who believes in creating something rooted in nature and connection.
To bring this vision to life, there are a few foundational things needed: a tractor to prepare land and maintain the property, a tiny home to serve as a base for operations and volunteers, septic system installation, water infrastructure and irrigation, tree planting and reforestation efforts, fencing and animal areas, community garden beds, and shared outdoor gathering spaces. This project is about more than land — it’s about creating a place where people can come together, share food, share knowledge, and support each other.
Every donation helps move this vision forward. Whether it’s planting trees, building garden beds, or creating space for animals, you’re directly contributing to a community-driven homestead. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser means just as much. This is something I truly believe can grow into a lasting space for community, sustainability, and connection.
