Hi everyone. So a change in circumstances recently has meant time to look ahead at new ventures. The Hospitality industry I work in is in a dire situation and so the kneed (pardon the pun!) to explore new opportunities has risen and after careful consideration I have decided to look at bringing something new to the local community that a lot of people have been asking for and that is really hard to find - great bread and pastries!

I am going to be creating a start-up bakery from home with a view to supplying the local community with Artisan bread and pastries. All items will be naturally leavened using no chemicals or preservatives, with a view to growing the business to supply the wider Newcastle area.

This is an opportunity to support a small local business in providing a humble traditional product in quality bread that is so hard to find in the area. I wanted to try and fund this on my own but it is an expensive venture to get off the ground and I'm unable to do it without the support of the community and so however small your donation it would be enormously welcome and I look forward to making the local community proud as I get off the ground.
