During my recent trip to Nigeria on December 31, 2025, to visit my sick mother, I had the opportunity to attend Rhema House Of Praise, a church on the outskirts of the city. I was deeply moved by the vibrant community, especially the large number of youth and children who attended. Despite having plenty of land, the church itself does not have a dedicated space for the youth and children, so everyone worships together in one big area.

Curious about this, I met with the senior pastor, Pastor Lucky Omoregbee, to ask why the church hadn’t created separate spaces for the youth and children’s ministries. He explained that the church simply does not have the funds to build these much-needed areas. Hearing this, I felt called to help and decided to take it upon myself to raise funds to build a dedicated children’s ministry space.

The money raised will go toward building materials, furniture, and educational resources for the children. I truly believe that children are the future, and as God teaches us, we should guide them in His ways so they can support others in the future. By helping these children learn the fundamentals of living a life of faith, we can help them grow into caring, responsible adults. Galatians 6:9 (NIV) “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Encouragement that good works, including helping youth, will be rewarded.
