Hello Everyone,
First I would like to start by saying that the photo is of my father and myself as he gave me away at my wedding.
My father is Tyrone Jackson a missionary serving in Trinidad and Tobago for over 12 years now.
When I was sixteen years of age, my father moved my mother and my three siblings to the island of Trinidad. We were born and bred Americans and so the ideal of going to a foreign country as missionaries was a shock, but we adjusted. Since then, my siblings have all moved back to America but I loved it here so much I stayed and married a local.
Over the years, I have watched my father live a life of faithfulness by assisting other missionaries with their works, ministries, and then starting a church of his own. My father has poured his life and money into Family Baptist church for several years now. While on furlough about a year ago, the opportunity came for him to purchase a pre-fabricated building to hold church services in there in Trinidad(the church currently rents a building for services). It has been several months, and my father still continues to put away whatever finances he can to try and pay off the container and then have it shipped from Minnesota to Trinidad, West Indies.
Unfortunately, he is only half way there. I am creating this fund for my father because I love him with all of my heart and have never met a person who loved God more and tries his best to serve Him. He actually has no ideal tha I am trying to help him raise money.
