Help Buhbuh Walk Again: Support His Recovery

Buhbuh is a 14-year-old dachshund, and is usually full of life and loves playing with his parents, Isis and Nick Myers, and sister Blaze.

Isis has had Buhbuh since he was just a tiny puppy. He's been with her for the majority of her life and has made a huge impact on her, especially in the times Nick was deployed overseas.

On February 3rd, Buhbuh woke up and was doing his usual morning routine. When he went to hop back inside the house, his little body froze and he couldn't move. Isis woke up to his and Nick's yells for help. After rushing him to an emergency vet, they discovered that he was now paralyzed in his lower back and legs.

But Buhbuh is a fighter and refuses to give up. His new daily needs are special diapers, medications, and new equipment to help care for him. He also has to go to a special doggy daycare 3x a week so Isis can maintain her job.

The vet is optimistic that therapy and potentially surgery could restore function to his back legs and allow him to continue being the spunky dog he's always been.

Our goal is to raise enough so that the Myers family can afford Buhbuh's basic care, vet visits, medication, surgery, and physical therapies.

We all know that this type of vet care isn't cheap or obtainable for everyone, but we want to give Buhbuh the best chance at returning to his normal life.
