Help! Bugy needs dental surgery

Hi all.

This silly little man is Bugy Smalls aka Bug, Buggy or Bob.

Those that have met him know what a goofy, affectionate clown he is.

Unfortunately, Bug is in need of urgent dental work that I simply can’t afford on my own right now.

He was diagnosed with advanced gum disease and has already lost one tooth. He also has a heart murmur which increases his chance of serious complications if the gum disease is not addressed as soon as possible. That’s also the reason he was denied pet insurance, since they consider it a preexisting condition.

5 different vets quoted a cost of $3,400, including extractions, cleaning, echocardiogram and medication. Without this care, he’s at risk of serious infection, pain, and long-term health risks.

It’s heartbreaking to see him in discomfort, and I want nothing more than to get him the treatment he needs so he can get back to being his happy, weirdo self.

Even though I haven’t worked in almost 2 years,

I’ve been able to take care of everything he needs…until now.
