Help Buffer a Tough New Beginning For Fatima

Hello Friends,
Largely due to your gracious support, Fatima and her family have relocated to Egypt while remaining together. Their lives are still ones of acute survival. This fundraiser serves to help address their pressing safety and financial concerns while meeting basic needs in a difficult social landscape. All while being over $10k in debt.
“My name is Fatima from Gaza, Palestine. I lived 6 months of the war in Gaza and we came out of our house literally without anything. We lost money, the shelter, relatives and friends. We left Gaza after helping some friends and other debts that add to $11,000 USD. I am now the sole breadwinner of my family, - my mom, dad, brother, and I - to pay for rent, food, basic living supplies, medical treatments, and the operation of my mom. I am actively paying off debts in the meantime and I have no work. I am in need of literal help. My situation was excellent before the war and I used to help others. Now, the war has negatively affected me, turning me from a giving person into a needy person. These responsibilities are very difficult for me bear alone.”
Fear calls for fearless love. Loving aid should sustainably follow along the thread of our fellow humans’ trajectories, not simply abandon them at transition points. Thank you for showing up for Fatima and her family when they needed you in the past. Thank you for continuing to show up as they need you now.
