Hello everyone! My name is Jenny and my fur-baby is Bueller (Dogue De Bordeaux, like Hooch from Turner and Hooch!). A couple of days ago, I noticed he wasn’t acting like his normal goofy self. Something in me told me that it was serious, so I rushed him to the emergency veterinary hospital. I’m so thankful that I didn’t wait because it turned out that he had developed a twisted colon. The vet advised immediate surgery to save his life. Bueller made it through the surgery and is slowly recovering, still in the care of the vet hospital. He is very popular amongst the staff because of his sweet personality and kissable smoosh face! It is not unusual that he gets celebrity treatment when we go places because he’s such a sweetheart. I have high hopes he will make a full recovery and be home with me very soon! So far, I’ve spent $11,659.57 in veterinary care and he is worth every penny! And if it takes me years to pay off the credit card, then it does. I recently have been off work because of a shoulder injury, so my income has been significantly impacted in the last few months. I’m hoping to raise enough in order to make the credit card payment for March and April. Then I will have time to breathe and figure out what to do next. I appreciate any little amount to help get me through this and prayers for Bueller in his recovery.
