Buddy the Bunny came into my life unexpectedly when my dog brought him home in her mouth. He was only about four days old, and every rescue center I contacted said they couldn’t help—either because they weren’t taking rabbits or because his chances of survival were so low. Faced with the choice to let him die or try to help, I decided to do everything I could to give him a fighting chance. Against all odds, Buddy has survived for over a week in my care, and he’s shown a resilience that’s truly inspiring.

Caring for Buddy has already involved specialized milk, feeding equipment, probiotics, and creating a safe habitat for him. Now, he urgently needs to see a vet to ensure his further survival. As much as I want to help him, the costs are adding up quickly, and I can’t do it alone. Buddy is still tiny and fragile, and getting him to the vet soon is paramount for his future.

Once Buddy is stable and strong enough, a rescue organization will rehabilitate him and re-home home, which I am unable to do myself. All life is worth saving, and Buddy has shown me just how strong the will to live can be, even in the smallest and most vulnerable creatures.
