Buddy is a retired, disabled veteran who is facing an incredibly difficult loss. Last week, a massive storm struck and caused Buddy’s house boat to sink, taking away the home he depended on. Since then, Buddy has been staying with a friend while trying to figure out what comes next. Losing a home so suddenly is overwhelming for anyone, and for Buddy, it has left him without the safe and stable place he deserves.

This fundraiser is to help Buddy begin rebuilding after this disaster. The funds will go toward removing his current house boat from the water and helping him purchase a new house boat so he can have a secure place to live again. Buddy has served his country and is now in need of support from others during this hard time. Any donation, no matter the size, will help him move closer to stability and relief. Buddy is a friend of my Dad’s, therefore we’re able to provide updates showing his new home once it has been purchased.
