Buddy has been in the Dunnigan's family for a long time. In 2017, while Buddy was in a kids lesson barn, Buddy stuck his head through a fence and had mild nerve damage to his right ear, thus earning him the nickname “The Pony With the Crooked Ear.” Buddy has taught many children and adults to ride by being patient and quiet. He has stolen the hearts of all who come in contact with him. He has cared for many kids on his back including children with special needs.

 

Tragically, on October 29th 2021 Buddy broke his right front leg. This has broken the hearts of so many, young and old alike. As we embrace in love and tears for our beloved buddy, we can see his will to heal. We have had three surgeons look at the break and they are confident that he can make a full recovery. However, this is a huge cost and we are asking for the help of the community to help repair his leg. Let’s help Buddy the Wonder Pony heal his leg and live a long and happy life!
