Buddy is the most selfless man we know. He has spent his life caring for others—raising his nieces Alyssa and Stacey, working on his Aunt Margaret and Uncle David’s farm, and always lending a hand without asking for anything in return.

On Sunday, March 30th, while returning from a train show where he sold his beautifully remodeled trains to buy his great-niece and nephew a swing set, Buddy was involved in a devastating head-on collision. He is now in the ICU with multiple lacerations, broken ribs, a bleeding spleen, pelvic fractures, and broken limbs. He remains sedated with a breathing tube as he fights through this difficult journey.

Buddy has a long road to recovery, including multiple surgeries, rehabilitation, and months of healing. We are raising funds to remodel Alyssa’s home, transforming her sunroom into a bedroom where Buddy can recover safely once he is discharged.
