Help Buddy Bounce Back from Surgery

My sweet pal Buddy had to have emergency surgery to remove a foreign object from his intestines on June 24th. Luckily, it went well and he is on a strong road to recovery.

Buddy came to me last fall. I had been pondering fostering a dog. Buddy belonged to a friend of mine but due to a change in living situations, he couldn't live with them anymore. Buddy has been an absolute treat to interact with. He is always perky, happy to see you, and I was down for playtime.

I couldn't put a dog down that didn't have anything terminally wrong with it. Buddy is a senior but he still has a love of life and more good years ahead of him. He wakes up every morning with energy that I wish I could have and has been a wonderful companion for my other dog, Jasper.
