Help Buddy Balser with medical bills

Hi, my names Ashley Ketterer. I am starting this page to help Buddy Balser raise money to help with medical bills as he was in a really bad car accident September 9th at 2:45 pm on 52 and state road 28 in Lafayette, IN.

At the time of the accident he was life lined to IU Methodist church in Indy. His car caught on fire and was pulled from his Jeep Wrangler by some of the witnesses that saw the wreck. When we made it to the hospital we were told he had a less than 1% chance of survival. His heart stopped twice before making it to IU they were able to get it started both times but by doing so it broke all of his ribs. They did a CT scan and took him in for surgery to remove part of his lung to stop internal bleeding. Both legs were broken as well as hip and pelvic bone. He has had surgery on the right leg. He was also severely burned from the fire on both legs and on his stomach. Because of how bad the burns were on his left leg and having infection they had to amputate his left leg from above the knee. We are still waiting on surgery on the hip and pelvic as they keep pushing the surgery out. They also had to start dialysis because his kidneys were functioning properly. He was on a ventilator but they removed the tubes from his throat and did a tracheotomy. He had zero head trauma and He has been conscious and responsive since the day after the accident. He seems to be in good spirits but also seems very scared.

His family and I are setting this account up to help him with medical bills and any other financial problems he will need help with. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
