When our amazing foster arrived to collect Buddie , we were horrified. Buddie’s body was raw, his skin crawling with hundreds of live fleas, scabbed over with open wounds.

The smell. The pain. The quiet way he sat, as if used to it. This is not a recent issue. This is long, painful neglect. And he wasn’t alone—he lived with a child, cats, kittens, another dog. Wwe’re scared to imagine the state of the rest animals.

Buddie is finally safe – but that’s just the beginning.... BHe’ll need urgent treatment, medication, pain relief, flea management, and later neutering and full rehabilitation.

It will cost time, money, and care—but we won’t let him down.

And we can’t do it without you.

This isn’t just about Buddie. It’s also about the next dog we’re called to help tomorrow.
