Buddha has been my loyal companion for 12 years, and he truly is a part of my family. The day after Christmas, he disappeared without a trace, and for two long months, I searched and hoped for his safe return. When Buddha finally came back at the beginning of March, I was overjoyed, but I quickly realized something was very wrong. He had developed a cancerous wound that required immediate attention, and the only way to save him was to have his leg amputated all the way to the hip.


Buddha is a fighter, and despite everything he’s been through, he’s still full of love and spirit. His recovery has been challenging, and he still has staples in his amputated leg. The vet bills have been overwhelming, and he’s not done with his treatment yet. Every day, I do everything I can to make sure he’s comfortable and getting the care he needs, but the costs are more than I can handle alone.
