Help Buddha Babe

Below is a post by our dear friend, Tina Dixon Spence . After working tirelessly for years, she finally got the storefront she dreamed of in Mt. Airy & business, even in the midst of a pandemic, was booming.  Then, this happened. 


"It’s 6am EST. I got a call at 3:30 from the upstairs tenant saying that my door had just been busted out and all they heard was running footsteps and a car screeching off.

Baron’s in bed sleeping soundly, the police are waiting for me to arrive to take a report, and kindly let me know that they’d received dozens of calls from concerned neighbors.

Stop killing black people. Stop looting. Stop terrorizing communities. Just. Fucking. Stop.

I will now clean this shit up, board all of my beautiful windows and get home in time to take Baron to school. And then I’m going to scream."
