Bucket’s story is one of heartbreak, but we believe his future can be filled with hope.

Bucket is a 4-year-old Pit Bull Terrier who was rescued from SEACCA after his life was turned upside down. His owner was arrested and went to jail, and after being released, his owner never came back for Bucket. Left behind and confused, Bucket found himself in a shelter, waiting for someone to give him a chance.

Bucket is a loyal, loving dog who bonds deeply with his person. But after everything he has experienced, he carries fears and uncertainties that make it difficult for him to navigate certain situations.

Bucket was evaluated by a veterinary behaviorist, and the recommendation was clear: Bucket needs structured, professional training to help him build confidence, learn coping skills, and work through the fears and uncertainties that are holding him back.

This training is not about changing who Bucket is — it is about giving him the tools he needs to feel safe, succeed, and have the best possible quality of life. With the right guidance, consistency, and a dedicated trainer, Bucket has the opportunity to become the confident companion we know he can be.
