Help Buck Overcome His Severe Illness
Donation protected
Hello everybody
One of our babies (Buck) is extremely sick!
Let me introduce you to Buck if you don't know him already. We adopted Buck on June 29th, 2023, from a rescue.
Buck was not even 1 yet and he was found in a hoarding and breeding situation in Detroit, with his sister. His sister shortly got adopted as she was an outgoing pup, unlike Buck. They used to call him Mr. Shy Guy at the rescue.
All he would do is stay in the back of his cage and hide. Any loud sudden movements, he would bolt back to his safe place.
When we went to meet him, he wouldn’t even allow us to be in the same room with him without being scared. We knew from there he was one special guy that just needed a little extra love.
Buck flourished out of his shell with the help of his new brother, Gunner, that we introduced him to. Since then, Buck has been camping, boating, and out of state visiting family, living up his new life with us.
In the past month and a half, we have been struck by a sickness that has been nothing but getting worse.
At first, we started out just fighting a runny nose that progressively became worse, to a green runny snot. Eventually, we hit a breaking point: BLOOD, LOTS OF BLOOD. Buck has been bleeding out of both of his nostrils profusely.
We have done swabs and tissue samples/stains and they've come back negative, unfortunately.
So here we are onto a CT scan of Buck's head on 5/6/25.
We are going to continue to search to find out what is wrong with our poor baby as he is only 2 years old and does not deserve this!
We are not the ones to ask, but if any of you feel like you could give to help Buck with his stays at the hospital, series of tests, and possible surgery while we figure out what is wrong with him, we appreciate it.
