Hello, my name is Trevor. The other day, my Malamute, Buck, and I were on a walk when we got attacked by a stray dog. Buck, being the great dog he is, defended me and got his leg bit and ripped open pretty bad. I was forced to get in between them to break it up and also got my hand bit and ripped open. I was forced to go to the ER and get my hand stitched up, which luckily cost me nothing. Buck's situation, however, is a little different. I've contacted numerous vets, and none of them will help Buck without payment upfront. It has been a tough time for me financially after getting laid off from my job of 9 years and having to take a job where I make less than half of what I used to make. It's been a struggle just to keep a roof over our heads. Now, with my hand injury, I am forced to miss this week of work and won't be getting my normal Friday paycheck. Unfortunately, everything I have just went towards my rent, and I don't have enough to get Buck the help he needs. If there's anyone out there that's willing and able to help me get Buck the care he needs, I would be beyond grateful. Buck is currently walking on 3 legs and is in a lot of pain.
