Marvadene “Bubbles” Andersen is more than 6’11” — she’s heart, courage, and light. To us, her University of Pittsburgh teammates, she’s always been the one who lifts everyone around her.

Hurricane Melissa devastated her home in Clarendon, Jamaica, leaving her family without a roof, power, or almost any possessions. She has lost nearly everything, yet her faith and strength remain unshaken.
