Meet Bubbles.

Bubbles is a small cat with a big personality and absolutely no understanding of his own limitations. In his mind, he is an elite athlete, a professional snack inspector, and the official supervisor of every human in the room.

Unfortunately, his spine seems to have been assembled with some questionable engineering.

Bubbles is currently a medical foster with Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven, and he has a spinal condition that is beginning to affect how he walks and is causing him pain. To understand what is happening, he needs specialized veterinary care and advanced imaging so the vets can properly diagnose the issue and figure out how to help him.

Even with everything going on, Bubbles remains his cheerful, determined self. He still tries to patrol the house like he owns the place and is firmly convinced that dinner should happen approximately every twelve minutes.

If confidence alone could fix a spine, Bubbles would already be fully recovered.

But specialty veterinary care is expensive, and that is where we are hoping the community can help.

We are raising $15,000 to help cover the cost of diagnostics, imaging, and treatment so Bubbles can get the care he needs and live comfortably.

Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven regularly takes in cats that require medical care, including injured, stray, and vulnerable cats that have nowhere else to go. While this fundraiser is focused on helping Bubbles, any funds raised beyond his medical needs will go directly toward helping other Haven cats who also require medical treatment and support.
