Help Bubble Walk Pain-Free Again
Donation protected
Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my sweet Pomeranian, Bubble. He’s not just a pet—he’s my little shadow, my travel buddy, and my constant source of love and comfort. If you’ve ever met Bubble, you know he’s full of life, always eager to greet people with his bright eyes and wagging tail. He’s only 5 and a half years old, but he’s already been by my side through so much—across state lines, on every adventure, and through every quiet moment at home.
Recently, Bubble was diagnosed with bilateral luxating patellas, a painful condition that causes his kneecaps to slip out of place. Without surgery, his condition will worsen, and he's at high risk of tearing the ACLs in both of his hind legs. Every day, I watch him try to play like he used to, only to stop short from the pain. It's heartbreaking to see him struggle just to do the things he loves—whether it’s running in the yard, hopping into the car for a drive, or simply walking beside me.
To make matters more complicated, Bubble also has Von Willebrand disease, a genetic disorder that affects his blood's ability to clot. This makes his knee surgery more complex and risky—and also significantly more expensive. His estimated medical costs, including the surgery, pre-op, post-op, and necessary follow-ups, have been quoted between $11,000 and $12,000.
I’ve never been the type to ask for help like this, but I’ll do anything for Bubble. He has given me endless love and loyalty, and I want to do everything in my power to give him a healthy, pain-free life in return.
If you’re able to donate—any amount, truly—it would mean the world to both of us. Every little bit helps us get closer to Bubble being able to walk, run, and explore again without pain. If you’re not in a place to give, sharing this fundraiser would help more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read Bubble’s story, and thank you from the bottom of my heart for any support you can give.
With gratitude,
Amanda & Bubble
