Help Rebuild & Recover After Life Altering Car Accident

Hello, my name is William Marshall, and I am reaching out today because I need your help. I never imagined I would find myself in this situation, but here I am, fighting for my life and my future.

On March 12th, after working long hours, I was driving home when tragedy struck. I was in the middle of nowhere, exhausted from the long day, and I tragically fell asleep at the wheel. My car crashed into a large rock wall with such force that it crumpled like a tin can. In those terrifying moments, I could only manage to call 911 and say two words.

Emergency responders—police, fire, and medics—arrived quickly. They had to use the jaws of life to extract me from the wreckage. When I was pulled from the car, I was rushed to the nearest hospital, but they soon realized they didn't have the right surgeons to treat my injuries.

I was life-flighted to San Angelo, Texas, where they kept me stable for a short time. But things quickly took a turn for the worse. They had to put me into a coma and life-flight me to a military hospital in San Antonio, TX, where I was given numerous blood transfusions due to losing so much blood, and my hemoglobin levels were dangerously low. I spent 4 days in the ICU, fighting for my life.

I’ve suffered severe injuries. I broke every bone in my left leg, shattered my ankle, and endured multiple broken ribs. I’ve been in the hospital since March 12th and, unfortunately, it looks like I will be here for an extended period of time.

As if the pain and uncertainty of my recovery weren't enough, my vehicle is a total loss. All of my belongings were in the car, including my clothes, tools for work, and personal items. The car was my only means of transportation, and now, not only am I physically broken, but I also cannot work to support myself or recover my lost items.

I’m 4 hours away from my home and loved ones, which makes it incredibly difficult for them to be here with me as often as they’d like. To make matters worse, the medical bills are piling up, and I still have other bills that need to be paid, even as I remain in the hospital.
