Bubba Blue is a 2-3 year old, very handsome 50-pound Pit Bull mix who came into my life after a traumatic accident. I found him after he was hit and dragged by a car, suffering a large gash across his groin and painful road burns on his hind leg. No one came forward to claim him, so I took him to the vet for emergency surgery. He needed sutures, drains, and ongoing care to help him heal. Since then, I’ve been nursing him at home, making sure he’s comfortable and safe as he recovers.

Bubba Blue is incredibly gentle and kind, even after all he’s been through. He loves scratches, hugs, and spending time with my female dog, Sadie. Despite wearing a cone and being limited in his activity, he still tries to play and interact. He does have a small limp (and might always have it) and is heartworm positive, so he’ll need continued care and a loving adopter willing to help him start his heartworm treatment.
