Our neighbors, Bubba and Howard, are retired brothers who have spent their lives helping people in this community. Recently, they lost everything in a freak accident when their lawn mower caught fire and their house burned down. Every possession, every photo, every memory gone in minutes. They barely made it out alive.

Now they’re suddenly homeless and trying to rebuild from nothing. The only place they can find to rent costs $600 more than what they were paying before an overwhelming jump for anyone, especially at this stage of life.

These are two of the kindest, most generous people you’ll ever meet. They’ve always shown up for others. Now they’re the ones who need support.
