Help BSPA go to the Dance World Cup, Spain 2022

We are very proud to share some news….

16 students from the Britton School of Performing Arts (BSPA) in Letchworth have qualified to represent Team England in the 2022 Dance World Cup Finals in San Sebastian, Spain.

This is a massive achievement. Like the Olympics of the dance world.

With costs to cover for 16 children, as you can imagine, it is a challenge to get them all over there.

This talented young group of performers (age 8 to 15) continued to train hard and rehearse despite the global COVID pandemic, taking part in Zoom lessons and practicing in parks and gardens. This dedication and commitment to their sport has paid off and the BSPA team are excited for their opportunity to perform on a global stage.

We are fundraising to help cover the cost of entry fees, DWC uniform and travel to San Sebastian and every penny counts and will be hugely appreciated.

Thank you in advance for any help you can give and feel free to share this with your friends and family – let’s get this incredible squad over to Spain to represent England.

This is what each target milestone of our fundraising will pay for.

TARGET £14,327.60

Raising for 16 children and 1 x dance teacher’s costs;

1. 1,282.20 pays for Entry fees

2. £2,814.6; pays for #1 and England Squad Kit x 17

3. £6,217.60; pays for #1, #2 then £200 x 17 in help towards travel expenses.

4. £11,317.60; pays for #1 - #3 and £300 x 17 towards Accommodation costs.

5. £13,867.60; pays for #1 - #4 and food allowance of £150 x 17.

6. £14,327.60; pays for #1 -#5 and then costumes x 23

If we are lucky enough to raise over this amount, any extra funds will be used towards further additional practice sessions to further perfect the performances and future talent at BSPA.
