With our new album, we decided to take the control back and release it independently. As a result - for the first time in years - we can choose where the money goes.

For this first single - Pick a Side - we are choosing for it to go to 'Medical Aid for Palestinians'. They provide direct 'boots-on -the-ground' aid in Palestine and Lebanon, providing medical aid as emergency assistance where facilities have been destroyed, rebuilding infrastructure and training medical staff.

As a side (but very important to us) note, they also have a very good 'proportion of funds raised' that goes directly to helping those in the region, with 80p of every £1 going to the direct work, 12p going to fundraising and the 8p left going towards the organisational costs of the charity. Also, nobody at the charity earns more than £90k a year, which is a damn sight better than some larger 'more reputable' charities. Every penny that comes through this fundraiser will go directly to the charity.

We have also checked that they are up to date with their reporting to the charity commission of England and Wales.

If you can spare a quid, please chuck it in the donation pot. Regardless of what you currently think, nowhere in the world do schools, hospitals and innocent people deserve to be bombed. Throughout every conflict those that deliver aid, that save lives, regardless of their backgrounds, deserve as much support as possible.
