Help Bryson Beat Child Cancer!

PLEASE WE NEED YOUR HELP! for Bryson.

Bryson is a sweet & active 5-year-old boy who enjoys sports, swimming and exploring outdoors.  He has a close bond to his baby sister,  Madelynn who is 3-yrs-old.  Unfortunately 2 years ago, Madelynn herself suffered a traumatic brain injury (caused by 3rd party care-provider).  She will continue to require specialized care in the years to come. Thru it all, Bryson has been her playful companion & fierce protector.  Seeing how he tenderly interacts with her is heart-warming. They’re best buds.

Recently, Bryson fell ill. He was life-flighted from Bend, Oregon to Doernbecher hospital in Portland, where immediate brain surgery was performed. We were devastated to discover Bryson has numerous cancerous tumors,- and only one being operable.  After surgery, Bryson starts radiation and chemotherapy to battle the remaining tumors that have spread to his brain and spinal column.  Doctors have confirmed his diagnosis as Medulloblastoma, Grade 4.

Bryson is a kind & well-mannered boy who always gives you a hug and kiss, says hello and goodbye, please and thank you, -your heart just breaks for him. For his parents to endure a second tragedy so soon after Madelynn’s, is unimaginable.

Bryson’s parents are struggling to both care for Madelynn, who requires constant care, and pay for medical, travel & hotel expenses to stay with Bryson. His father, a well-respected police officer in Bend, has taken leave from his job and will run out of paid-leave well before Bryson’s treatment has been completed.

His doctors are just beginning the fight to keep Bryson alive. Please help us during the battle against cancer for an amazing young boy, and lift up his parents spirits. Maddie misses playing with her older brother. And we need him to be healthy, active and exploring the world again.

This well-respected family has endured much sorrow but have remained gracious, hopeful & focused. Any contributions that you can spare will be wholeheartedly received & sorely appreciated. Please keep Bryson in your prayers.
