Hi, my name is Bryonna McAfee, and I’m the founder of HuggieB Cookies — a small but mighty cookie business built from love, resilience, and faith. What started as a dream inside my 600 sq ft apartment in Dallas has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined. Now, I’m ready to take the next step: launching a tiny food truck trailer to bring HuggieB Cookies to the streets and share our cookies with more amazing people, one hug at a time.

The Heart Behind the Cookies

Growing up in Seattle, I always found comfort in the kitchen. Baking became my love language. It was how I showed care, how I connected with people — and eventually, how I coped with the highs and lows of life. The nickname “HuggieB” came from my parents because of the warm hugs I always gave. It stuck — and now it’s the name behind the cookies that hug your soul.

After moving to Texas and attending Paul Quinn College, I took a leap of faith in 2023 and launched HuggieB Cookies from my apartment. Every cookie was hand-crafted, every recipe perfected through love and intention. I poured everything I had into this business — and our supporters showed up in the most beautiful ways.

Why a Tiny Food Truck Trailer?

We’ve reached a point where we want to meet people where they are. The dream is to have a cute, compact food trailer that can pop up at festivals, events, parks, and neighborhoods — offering fresh, gooey cookies on the go. A mobile cookie hub that represents warmth, community, and joy.

This trailer will also allow us to grow sustainably, expand our reach, and bring a piece of HuggieB Cookies to more hearts (and stomachs) without the massive overhead of a storefront — just yet!
