"Brylee was born January 28th @7:05 pm. She weighs 6lbs 4 ounces.
She had what is called MAS (meconium asperation syndrome). Brylee's case is a little different then most because it was so bad very thick.
On Friday the 27 I started bleeding. I went to the doctor and she thought she looked fine, that it was probably my body just getting ready for birth. Saturday I started get small contractions nothing big. But within 30 minutes I was every 2 minutes in excruciating pain. When my water broke it was all meconium. We got to the hospital within 7 minutes and the doctor right away sent me back for a emergency c-section. Brylee's heart rate was dropping every time we had a contraction, because her cord was being pinched and she wasn't getting any oxygen. The doctor moved very fast; I checked in at 630 and they had her out at 705 . When they pulled her out she was unable to breath, but her heart was great . Brylee's medical treatment is going on scd but they can't give us to many details other then we have to take this day by day.
Going forward, step 1 is a 72 hour therapeutic hypothermia, to make sure there is no swelling in her brain and also for blood clots. She is also on a respirator, and nitrisocside treatment, pain meds ,and coating her lungs with antibiotics. She is heavily sedated to keep her calm and we are not aloud to give her any stimulation at all.
Step 2 is to slowly take her out of the therapeutic hypothermia. It take 24 hours to slowly warm her body up. She will continue all other treatments until the doctor is comfortable slowly taking her off of them. They are not exactly when or even if Brylee will be able to come home.
Brylee has beautiful big blue eyes and she actually has a ton of blonde hair."
During this difficult time, anything you can do to help Jolie and Sean would be greatly appreciated. Brylee will continue to have medical bills and relieving some of the monetary stress will allow Jolie and Sean to spend their time with their sweet baby girl. Please continue to keep them all in your thoughts and prayers.
